| Assignment
#1 - Spring, 2008 |
- This assignment will introduce you to working on a wiki. I'll use your work here in the evaluation of your "participation."
- Log into the InformaticsWiki as instructed
- Edit your User Page to tell us about your background. You may want to look at Bruce Byrne's page as an example, but don't feel a need to copy it. At a minimum, experiment with the editing tool on your User Page, to (a) format and create links to other pages on the Internet, (b) include an image, and (3) include a reference, formatted as instructed.
- If you see a format you are interested in an article in Wikipedia, you can click the edit button on that Wikipedia article to examine the markup that was used to achieve that look or link.
- Contribute to one of two articles, linked from the Wiki Main Page: Fair Use or Image Resources. We intend that developing these articles will be a start in a semester-long experiment in collaboration.
- If you have questions about the assignement, please ask them on the InformaticsWiki page relevant to this assingment. Don't be timid about answering other folks questions!
