Learn a bit about how the Internet works and take a few notes in your own words. You will be asked to use these notes to explain about the internet when you publish your won web pages. The links below take you to articles in Wikipedia

  • What are two or three important milestones in the history of the Internet.
  • What important network protocols are supported over the internet?
  • What do server applications, like Apache, do to make the Internet work?

Spend no more than 30 minutes visiting these sites and preparing your answers. Each should be one or two paragraphs long. Save them for your static web page, number 4 (above).
