Dr. John L. Nosher is a Clinical Professor and Chairman for the Department of Radiology at the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He earned his B.S. degree at St. Joseph’s College and an M.S. degree from Jefferson Medical College both located in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Nosher received certification in 1975 in Diagnostic Radiology, and in 1995 in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, both fromthe American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Nosher is an attending radiologist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and member of the Executive Council of UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Center for Biomedical Imaging.  Dr. Nosher been acknowledged with many honors and awards throughout his career and also serves as a reviewer for the journal Radiology.

His current research interests include: Biomedical Imaging and Picture Archive Communications (PACs), telemedicine, digital still and video imaging analysis, interactive and electronic educational materials.
