Ming Ouyang, PhD

Dr. Ouyang received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rutgers University in 1999, under the supervision of Dr. Vašek Chvátal. His dissertation was on algorithms for the Satisfiability problem. From October 1999 to April 2001, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Drs. Joan Burnside and John Case of University of Delaware on biological sequence analysis. He then joined the Computational Chemodynamics Laboratory of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute of Rutgers and UMDNJ as a research associate. In February 2003 he became a Senior Applications Specialist of the Informatics Institute, UMDNJ. In July, 2004, he was appointed to the rank of Adjunct Assistant Professor in the of Department of Pharmacology, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, UMDNJ.
